Christine Blower is the President of the European Trade Union Committee for Education (ETUCE), the Education International Regional Structure in Europe. She was the General Secretary of the National Union of Teachers in the UK from 2008 to 2016, and now acts as International Secretary of the NUT section of the new National Education Union, formed by the NUT and ATL in September 2017.
