Presentation will be in Slovene language.

People recognize and evaluate talents differently. For some, we think that they may be useless, because we do not know how to put them in an adult life, when we spend most of our time serving and earning money.
It is still very important for parents that their child will be good enough and smart at school to have good grades (where they think 5) that for child will be better and easier in life than he (his parent) was. IQ is not a guarantee for a successful life; It is also necessary to persevere, inventiveness and appropriately develop mechanisms to tackle failures. How can school teachers (teachers and counselors) recognize children's talents and encourage and help them to pursue vocations that may not have such an »important title« as the parents want for their child? What can I do as a school worker to properly recognize some talent in a child and help him to develop it appropriately?

The workshop will be aimed at exploring different views on talents, how we imagine them, and why certain talents are important to us. How individual talents develop from kindergarten to fax and what happen to them in the labor market. The workshop will be carried out in small groups, where new common ideas and views on talents and their development will be sought.
