About

Victor Mueller-Oppliger has been the program director of the international Master studies in «Integrative Education of Gifted and Talent Development IBBF» from 2003 until 2017. He is a professor for educational psychology in the chair of «self regulated learning» at the University of Education and Teacher Training of Northwestern Switzerland. He is the founder of the Swiss international Master program in Gifted Education and Talent Development that collaborates close with the «Renzulli Center for Creativity, Gifted Education, and Talented Development», USA (located at the University of CT. He is also the director of the European Talent Center in Switzerland. His study program (Certificate and Master program following the policies of Bologna) has widespread into several other states; at the time the center serves Online Courses and Master programs to different foreign universities in Europe.

Victor Mueller-Oppliger is a guest lecturer in and outside Switzerland. He is a member of the General Committee and of the Educational Board of ECHA (European Council of High Abilities and one of the founders of IPEGE (International Panel of Experts in Gifted Education) as well as a delegate for Switzerland in the World Council for Gifted and Talented Children (WCGTC).

He also is author of numerous articles and editor of books in the field of gifted education and talent development and the organisator of the triennial International Conference in Gifted Education and Talent Development in Switzerland (next time: 2020).
