Dr. sc. Jasna Arrigoni, a pedagogue by profession, worked for many years as a school pedagogue in an elementary school in Rijeka. Her professional interests are focused on issues of the potentially gifted and talented and the ways of their education. Since 2003, she has worked as an external associate at the Faculty of Teacher Education in Rijeka, and since 2010 she has been a full-time employee and, among other things, leads the course Encouraging the Gifted, for future primary education teachers and educators. She holds a PhD in the field of gifted education at the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb, of which she is an external associate.
She has participated in numerous domestic and international conferences and conferences, exhibited papers, participated as a team member in various projects within and outside the university. It cooperates with experts from abroad in the implementation of certain projects. Within the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports, she was engaged as part of a team for drafting legal documents related to the monitoring, identification and education of gifted and talented students. She is also one of the founders of the Center for Encouraging Giftedness in Rijeka.
